- I have an A1200 with an internal 2.5" 120mb maxtor drive, a VGA monitor
- which does suck power, and the MBX1230 50/030, 50/882 + 4mb fast ram, and I
- recently tried to install a dataflyer with a 240mb Maxtor 3.5" drive in it
- and power it just using the A1200 psu. NOTHIN'! No suprise there. There
- is, however, a jack in the back of the DataFlyer for a DC adaptor. Is that
- proprietary or can I just plug up something from Radio Shack assuming I get
- all the voltage things right.
-
- That would be ideal. I'd hate to have to find (and destroy) another Big
- Foot power supply. Maybe my fiancee's A500 stock psu will do the the
- trick. Any comments? experiences?
-
- Thanks in advance
